With the holidays in full swing, getting the proper amount of sleep and taking care of your immune system isn’t always easy. If you’re like me, you’ve most likely been staying up to play games, watch movies and enjoy the extra celebrations.

If you’re dragging, it’s time to boost your immune health.

Start by helping your body’s natural defenses. Eat well, avoid sugar, stay hydrated, and move your body regularly. You can also support your immune system naturally with essential oils.

When seasonal exhaustion hits hard, I make myself a cup of “The Sniffer” and allow my essential oils to do their thing and help me with my immune response and seasonal exhaustion.

1 drop Oregano
1 drop Tea Tree
1 drop Peppermint
Add water to a mug and heat to steaming hot. Add oils to the hot water. Cup your hands over the steam and lower your face to the mug to inhale the steam through your nose. Repeat as needed.

During the holiday season life gets hectic and busy. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with the idea of having to cook.

Did you know…

Rosemary can have a natural pick me up when ingested? The outer layer of the peppercorn (Black Pepper) stimulates a healthy digestion, and supports weight loss while boosting your energy.

Here’s a simple rosemary garlic rub that can be used for chicken, steak, or roasted vegetables. I love to have this on hand when I’m short on time but don’t want to compromise flavor.
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
2 drops Rosemary oil
1 drop Black Pepper oil
½ c olive oil
5 garlic cloves, diced
Mix all ingredients together and use as a rub for chicken, steak, or vegetables. Yum!
