Try this Awesome No-Sew Aromatic Heating Pad
Show your muscles who’s boss with a little heat!

If physical activities leave your muscles tired and sore, a hot pad can be your new best friend. Heat helps your muscles relax, which can help with stiffness and pain. Heat can also encourage circulation and blood flow to affected areas. No one has time for sore muscles, so try this aromatic “no-sew” rice hot pad and get some relief.

If you don’t sew or craft, then these DIY rice packs are a perfect project for you (aka easy). They’re cute and simple. I initially made these to give as gifts, but after trying them out, I had to make myself one!

What You’ll Need:
●  Leg warmers or knee
●  Baker’s twine
●  2 cups white rice
●  Toilet paper cardboard
●  10 drops of essential oil – I
like to use Lavender
●  Scissors
1. Tie up one end of a leg warmer tightly with baker’s twine. You may skip this step if you’re using a knee sock.

2. Place the rice in a bowl and add about 10 drops of essential oil. Stir well.

3. Stick an empty toilet paper roll tube in the open end of the leg warmer or sock to use as a funnel. Use a spoon or small measuring cup to pour the rice into the sock through the tube.

4. Tie the end off tightly with more baker’s twine and your rice heating pad is ready for use.

To Use:
1. Place your finished rice heating pad in the microwave

2. Place one cup of water next to the rice pad, this will add moist heat and keep the rice from scorching.

3. Microwave cup of water and rice pad for 1-3 minutes.

4. Remove from the microwave and gently shake to evenly distribute the rice.

5. Apply the warm heating pad to the desired body part. My go-to spot is around the back of my neck or my lower back.
