How many of you seem to be on this train of always looking for something to help support a healthy weight? The good thing is you keep your body guessing by trying new things. The bad part is we are on this “yoyo” of up/down/up/down. At least for me, I feel like I am.
I have tried lots of different plans with success, my trouble is I have a family of 6 and I LOVE to cook and trying new recipes. So, what can I do to be a part of both?
We also have two children with food sensitivities which made cooking these last few years a huge learning curve.
So, I have been on the lookout for something to help me as I try to maintain a healthy weight.
Last fall, I talked with one of our uplines in doTERRA,Tami, she is a fitness coach and was starting an online fitness program. Her suggestion, eat healthy proteins and watch your calories. For me at age 42, if I was working out 3 days a week to eat about 1650 calories. I could lose a pound a week, which is a healthy weight loss per week. Over the last 8 months that is what I have worked on and yes it works, the exercise was the hard part, so I gave myself the goal of 10,000 steps a day for at least 4-5 days a week.
Then this last week I ran across this recipe in the Advanced Oil Magic Book. (if you’re new to essential oils and not part of a doTERRA team, you can get one FREE, just ask me how!)
Here is the roller bottle recipe suggestion. I used these roller bottles to make my essential oil blend recipe that I will be using topically- 30 ml roller bottles on Amazon
(these are amazing by the way and perfect for rolling over a larger area.)
On the weight loss suggestion
– the Cellular Complex Blend is DDR Prime softgels
– the detoxification Blend softgels are the Zendocrine softgels.
– then the metabolic blend is Slim & Sassy essential oil blend.
For my roller bottle
,I used the a 15ml Slim & Sassy essential oil bottle. I paired it together with a few more essential oils for the Symphony of the Cells oil layer book. I added in 10 drops each Rosemary, Lemongrass, Massage blend (Aromatouch) and Frankincense essential oils. Then topped it off with fractionated coconut oil. Seeing as the Weight loss book suggested 15 drops of each at night before bed, I felt this would be the easiest way to apply to different areas of the body.
So far we are 1 week in and I am down 3 pounds with eating on average 1700 calories a day, 10,000 steps a day, and using these essential oils and supplements. I would love to hear if any of you TRY this recipe and what your results are. I am loving the energy and even the sugar cravings being greatly reduced. I feel like I am in more control of my eating and mood with food, plus I am able to eat with my family.
